Kidskin is the leather from a young goat. This leather is softer and stronger than goatskin and offers even greater dexterity and strength than goatskin. Kidskin is normally used in thinner cuts than goatskin and is used for top-of-the-line TIG gloves where dexterity is of crucial importance. Visually, kidskin is very similar to goatskin but provides substantially better dexterity, strength, and longevity, and it is higher in cost.
